    Pros +

    • Very nice area of South Korea, great skiing and the hotel is only 10 min drive from the skilift. The hotel has a really good ski rental shop, would recommend.
    • All good:) big villa , nice staff, will be back
    • + cleaning they cleaned the room daily and they changed the sheets frequently (they change the color of the pillow covers sometimes to let you know they changed it)+ comfortable beds.+ Sauna facility(or you might call it the Korean Onsen) was fantastic... we used it at least 5 out of the 8 nights we stayed. at also tried the scrubbing which was equiv. to 30USD per person. need to pay that in cash directly to the scrubber.+ it has a nice BBQ place inside it but I really recommend going to the BBQ place you find driving up the hill to the hotel, it's a hidden gem (search for "Keungol" on your google maps).

    Cons -

    • Its quite outdated and needs renovation. All restaurants in the hotel are quite old. Rooms are a bit beaten.
    • - staff is challenged with speaking English, they try their best.- we couldn't manage to book the Christmas week so we settled for the week before. book early!- two years ago their system balanced the cold and hot settings so set the temperature at a sweet spot but now they changed the system, so during winter the setting for the indoor heating system is too high and you will need to crack the sliding balcony glass window for balancing it out. we had to change our room as the rail of the first room wasn't smooth enough and the rail was dusty which my wife didn't appreciate (with a dead insect which needed cleaning)- due to the heating my wife experianced dry skin and dry nose.
    • I felt the staff weren’t very warm and friendly. We had a late checkout and they were persistent about charging us per hour and called the room 3 times about it. Which we had accepted the first time. The shuttle to the ski resorts are only 3 times a day which limits accessibility. The shopkeeper at the 7/11 was very rude. Also there needs to be a coin machine in the laundry room as it was difficult to get change. We enjoyed the restaurants downstairs however it was pricy.

I liked the room and that it was a large hotel. There were restaurants in the basement and a cute coffee shop which was the only cafe/ restaurant open during the day.

    Modern, efficient and well maintained.

No outside restaurants within close walking distance because of the hotel’s location.

    7MarthaPosted on: 4-19-2025

A big multi purpose hotel within easy walking distance of the Olympic Museum. The buffet breakfast was good and the various restaurants found in the basement of the hotel provided lots of choice of eating options.

    9KaramjitPosted on: 3-27-2025

Location was good, close to yongpyong ski resort. Close to city. Room was clean. This is our second time we stayed in this hotel.

Good parking facilities and staff very helpful at check in. Large hotel so quite difficult sometimes to locate where you are but maps everywhere.

Got charged for early check in -

    8NorazlinaPosted on: 3-10-2025

The connectivity between hotel to KTX stations and the ski resort

The heather somehow is very hot and cannot be changed although we have escalated to the staff on this issue

    9CoreyPosted on: 3-8-2025

Was great got to see snow price was reasonably good resort had all you could need

Needs a lunch restaurant option and a bar that opens earlier like midday lol

    8PaulPosted on: 3-5-2025

excellent rooms, very clean and comfortable. The restaurant nearby served a good BBQ.

breakfast is expensive, so we don’t take it. It was to warm in the room. We where unable to bring the temperature down with the AC. Solution was open the balcony door.

    8LeongPosted on: 2-11-2025

It is near Mona Yongpyong ski resort (drive about 10 minutes) at a much more affordable rate and comfort/clean

It is not near any restaurants, it will be more convenient if you rent a car as most of the nearby places is in the radius of 10 minutes drive

    8DavinaPosted on: 2-11-2025

Staff were very helpful and friendlyThe room was spacious and cleaned well. This room had a massage chair.

When using the bathtub, the water did not heat up well. The rooms temperature was difficult to adjust

    10ReetuPosted on: 2-11-2025

It’s really good, loved the view and the rooms are comfortable. Really liked the breakfast spread, they had a lot of options. The staff is really polite and helpful, there’s a convenience store at the basement which is very helpful.

    7fredrikPosted on: 2-3-2025

nice facilities with gym and spa.helpful and kind staff.ski rental next to the reception with great assistance, also provided ski passes.

the room was nice and the bed really comfortable but irrespective of what you did, the temperature was way too warm.several restaurants to chose from but only Korean food. Would have been nice with some international dishes and wine as a complement.

    8SergeiPosted on: 2-3-2025

The rooms are good and clean. The stuff can help if you have a problem. There are several restaurants and CU on the basement floor. The sauna is highly recommended! You can visit the sheep farm near the hotel and walk around.

The shuttle to the ski resort is not convenient (season 2024/2025). It runs three times a day: 8:40 (the morning session in the ski resort starts at 9:00), 12:30 (the evening session starts at 13:00), and 17:30.It is hot in the rooms during the winter season. The switch off the heater doesn't help. The rooms have good soundproofing, but the noise from the pipes can still be annoying. The restaurants in the building are a bit more expensive than usual. Sometimes, no free space is available. They are talking about green policies, yet they change towels every day, why?

    8NancyPosted on: 2-1-2025

The bed was so comfortable. The Spa, but you’ll be charged 10000 Won. Enough space for parking.

In the women spa 4 from 5 whirlpool tubs didn’t work. Saturday is too expensive, it’s not worth that. The room is too small.

    10JamesPosted on: 1-28-2025

Great location close to the ski slopes where the snow was amazing great runs and ski hill was great. Hotel staff were also very helpful.

    1. The cleaning staff continued to clean the rooms on my floor even after check-in time. Hotels should ensure that all rooms are thoroughly cleaned between check-out and check-in times for new guests, as this situation can make new guests feel uncomfortable.2. A second floor in the room seems unnecessary.3. I write my name in English here, even though I’m Korean, because I primarily use Booking.com for booking international travel. This likely led the hotel staff to assume I was a foreigner.

Great room, with a loft that my kids enjoyed sleeping in. We've stayed at this Ramada numerous times on family ski trips, and have thoroughly our stay every time. Service, amenities, and room space are always just right for meeting our family's needs. Our kids also love the arcade and food court area.
